Are you looking for a portable, lightweight solution for reading and distance viewing? The MLS "Student" Addition is a portable CCTV that can be used with a varity of screen options.  You can use the Student with with a Windows computer/laptop, Apple Mac computer/laptop, any VGA monitor or a TV with an RCA connection.  No other portable CCTV offers so many screen options. 

Mobility

At 3.3 pounds the compact size and the light weight makes it easy to carry and includes a convenient carrying case.  The Student can be set-up in virtually seconds and connecting to the computer is a snap with USB 2.0. The Student is powered through the USB 2.0 port and no external power supply is necessary when used with a computer/laptop.

Combined Reading and Distance Camera

Changing between reading and distance viewing is easily accomplished. Simply tilt the camera head down for reading, and up for distant viewing.  Use the distance mode to view a whiteboard and use the reading mode to magnify books, magazines and other written material. The Student remembers the maginification and other settings (color, high contrast etc.) assigned to both the reading and distance modes. The new flexible arm provides a wider range of motion to maximize viewing abilities!

Ultimate Flexibility

The Student's camera view shares the screen with the computer application.  For instance, an Internet browser and the Student camera view can share the laptop screen 50/50. Or the size and position of the camera view can be adjusted allowing the Student to have more (or less) of the screen.  All the Student functions are handled directly from the computer keyboard. It is also possible to connect the Student directly to a VGA (PC) monitor or TV set without using a computer. In that configuration, all the Student's functions are handled by a hand controller and an AC power adapter is utilized.
