Service

Washing one's hands with soap and water is the surest way to preserve the sharpness and reliability of the Braille cells. Nevertheless, daily use of the Braille display inevitably builds-up grime that can find its way into the depths of the braille cells, causing pins not to respond and even short circuit in some cases.

Hands on an ALVA 554 Satellite Traveler

VisionCue offers a reliable solution and quick response so down-time is minimal. Annual or bi-annual replacement of your Braille pins and caps ensures longer life of the cells as well as maintaining that "new cell feel".

With at least a week's notice that your ALVA Braille display is in need of service, we do our best to return your equipment within three to four days after it is received in our service center. We understand the significance that a Braille display has for our customers and we therefore want our users to be up and running as soon as possible. We also guarantee our work for 60 days. Please contact a service representative for pricing and to schedule your next service date.
